Spa of Margherita di Savoia

Margherita di Savoia Spa stands on a vast area above the sea with a large beach and a covered area of about 15,000 cu. m.

The thermal baths are equipped with the most up to date medical-health facilities.

In addition to the usual units for inhalation treatment, mud-balneotherapy and various kinds of massage, we also have:

• a Rhinogenic Deafness centre;
• a Bronchopneumology and Respiratory Rehabilitation Centre;
• a fully equipped gym;
• a Gynaecological Unit;
• an up to date Fitness Centre.

Mineral waters
The mineral waters come directly from the salt deposits. With their highly concentrated saline, bromine and iodine content the “mother waters” are particularly effective for prevention and treating various gynaecological, dermatological, ear, respiratory and osteoarticular system pathologies.

Without bacterial flora, enough to be labelled as “bacteria-free”, the mineral waters are enriched with typical microfauna and microflora giving it a typical reddish colour.
Margherita di Savoia mineral waters are classified as strong sodic chloride waters (iodic-sulphur-bromo-sodic waters).

Thermal mud
Our mud matures in decades of contact with the “mother waters” and is mineralized by the salt accumulated in it.

The thermal baths only use natural mud, never re-cycled, thanks to the vast extension of salt deposits that ensures a practically never-ending supply. This is one of the features of the Margherita di Savoia Spa.

Margherita di Savoia inhalant treatments (with the various techniques employed: inhalation, aerosol, sonic aerosol, nasal irrigations, nebulization) are correct therapies for the prevention and care of:
